My experience is in both business and coaching.
I am a Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation
(ICF) and subscribe to its Code
of Ethics. I am also a Member of the Association for Coaching.
I hold an ICF-accredited Certificate and Diploma in Coaching through
Coaching
Development, led by Philip Brew and Colin Brett.
Additional learning has been in Neuro-Linguistic
Programming (Business Practitioner through John Seymour Associates,
and Lorraine Calland), Organisational Relationship Systems Coaching
(Center for Right Relationship), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Copewell
Institute), Clean
Language (Angela Dunbar and Alex Marshall), Emergent Knowledge
(Angela Dunbar) and Solutions Focus (Peter Szabo).
My career as a top-ranked equity analyst in the City with firms
including Goldman Sachs and SBC Warburg (UBS), involved co-active
advisory relationships with leading international investors, senior
industry executives and corporate financiers. In industry at Thus
plc, as Director of Strategy, I managed a team of 16 and worked
with the CEO and across all functions within the business to help
build vision, consensus and confidence.
As a self-employed consultant and with Oxford Capital Partners,
I have worked with numerous entrepreneurs in funding their businesses,
and I was a non-executive director of AdIQ, a venture-funded mobile
technology business. I have also worked as a visiting lecturer at
the University of Greenwich Business School.
During my years in the 'City', I also enjoyed establishing a major
mentoring initiative with Business
in the Community and graduated through the Common
Purpose leadership development programme. Some years ago, I
studied Biochemistry at Oxford University.
For the past 6 years, I have been active as an ECB-qualified volunteer
cricket coach.
