My experience is in both business and coaching.
I am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and
subscribe to its Code
of Ethics. I hold an ICF-accredited Certificate of Coaching
through Coaching
Development, led by Philip Brew and Colin Brett. Additional
learning has been in Neuro-Linguistic
Programming (John Seymour and Lorraine Calland), Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (Copewell Institute) and Clean
Language (Alex Marshall).
My career as a top-ranked equity analyst in the City with firms
including Goldman Sachs and SBC Warburg (UBS), involved co-active
advisory relationships with leading international investors, senior
industry executives and corporate financiers. In industry at Thus
plc, as Director of Strategy, I managed a team of 16 and worked
to help build vision and consensus across the organisation.
As a self-employed consultant and with Oxford Capital Partners,
I have worked with numerous entrepreneurs in funding their businesses,
and I was a non-executive director of AdIQ, a venture-funded mobile
technology business. I have also worked as a visiting lecturer at
the University of Greenwich Business School.
During my years in the 'City', I also enjoyed establishing a major
mentoring initiative with Business
in the Community and graduated through the Common
Purpose leadership development programme. Some years ago, I
studied Biochemistry at Oxford University.
For the past 6 years, I have been active as an ECB-qualified volunteer
cricket coach.
