How the coaching process works

The agenda for the coaching will be entirely yours, both in terms of the overall aim and specific issues you'd like to focus on.

It would work something like this: I find that a package of 6-8 hours can have a significant impact, including a first session face-to-face for 1-2 hours - it's worth having a reasonable time to work out what your expectations are, what you'd like to focus on, how that fits in with your broader issues and how we can best move forward together. It will be helpful to have a quiet place, reasonably undisturbed, to give you the space to think and work effectively.

Throughout our coaching relationship, we will agree on how the coaching process will be applied and what the subject and outcome is, in each session and, indeed, within sessions. I will provide a safe, exploratory and challenging (as much as you wish!) presence for you to notice what really matters to you and move yourself forwards. Obviously, I will also provide complete confidentiality.

After the first session, we could meet face-to-face or talk on the phone, in longer or shorter sessions, as practical as suits you. There's no 'use by' date on the hours so you can use them over 4 weeks or 6 months! Coaching is often done on the phone - it works well provided both of us are able to give full attention - ie. not driving etc, and in a reasonably private place. I use skype quite a lot.

I will invoice for 6-8 hours in full up front but you can end the coaching at any time and I will refund the pro-rata outstanding amount to you. I see it as my job to make myself redundant!
